The elastic silicone material is thin and very stretchy/sticky which helps keep the hook strong and in place and doesn't clog the "ports". Port blocking gets in the way of your AirPods and I was afraid this silicone case would do just that. The catch is that while they fit snugly into the left and right charging ports, the case lid doesn't close completely. It's not a big deal for me since I don't need to constantly charge my AirPods (I don't drain their battery that quickly). If I need to charge it, I just keep the case with me and pop it in (with the lid open) when I have time. You can even do it with your own car. And that's all for me now for the cons. Cheap and easy enough to use, this affordable mod for my AirPods will bring me much more comfort and pleasure thanks to the various improvements it offers me.
