Fits tighter than the old reservoir cap
On my 1996 Jeep XJ the brake fluid in the master cylinder goes black much quicker than the fluid in the lines. I suspected that after 20 years the lid was not airtight. The new lid is definitely a lot tighter. You need to keep an eye on the liquid in the tank.
