Surface textures. This paper is just that. HOW IT WORKS This set of two pads is shrink-wrapped, which is important when it's being delivered in the rain like mine. The box outside was wet but they were protected. CUSHION The binding of the lining is paperless, which makes it easy to fold. PERFORMANCE This paper is really good. This determined the colors of the samples, which worked very well for me. I can remove the color if it doesn't stain well and get good results with it. It didn't have bad springing or any distortion issues. BOTTOM LINE This watercolor paper has worked very well for me so far. I love working on it. I haven't done deep drawings on it yet, but what I've done has been promising and has shown good results. MY RATING IS FIVE STARS. I will use this paper often, I know. I love how it captures grainy pigment and has a nice but not crazy texture.
