Quality paper suitable for art paper

I use watercolor paper to make jewelry. This paper is nice and thick, making it a good weight for embellishments. It absorbs paint well so your art looks great. Each notebook contains 32 sheets of 9" x 12". They are bound in a notebook, but the notebook is not attached to the cover, so you can easily remove the piece of paper without creasing or tearing it. There is a lot of paper (64 sheets) at an affordable price. I look forward to many projects!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Great inexpensive watercolor paper

This is a great watercolor paper for kids, beginners or practitioners. This is one of the cheapest watercolor papers I know. It has a slightly uneven texture typical of cold pressing. If you want smooth paper, use a heat press. It's a little off-white. It's greedy enough that the watercolor doesn't build up on the surface, but I can still pick up the color for clouds and such. It peels off easily from the backing but leaves some sticky residue on the edge of the paper. Overall, at this price…

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Unreliable

thick and textured watercolor paper

I love this cold pressed watercolor paper. I'm someone who loves good watercolor texture on watercolor paper and this paper has it. The paper is very thick and can absorb a lot of water. I also like to use this paper for pen drawing as the ink soaks into the paper quickly. I also love using this paper for digital printing, it looks amazing. Also, I was very pleased to learn that the paper in this notebook can be torn off easily due to the sticky part at the top that holds the notebook together.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Tradeable

Newbies must have!

I've been learning to do watercolors myself since April this year. There are many great brands out there and I would add these to this list; definitely in the top 3 with the best page count. Crunchy edges. Wet-on-wet mixes are excellent. If puddles are present, they are operator puddles, not paper puddles. As you can see from my photos, I draw poorly and there are no puddles. Water absorption is slow and steady so you can mix once or add more to go back and mix all at once. Thin layers that dry

Pros
  • PREMIUM WATERCOLOR PAPER CUSHIONS - Unleash your artistic creativity with this premium price of 2 packs of 32 sheets each, 140lb (330gsm)
Cons
  • Some Little Things

Gorgeous thickness and texture

I'm still a beginner in watercolor painting, so I try a lot of different paper sizes, all 140 pounds. These notebooks seem to have a great price. They have a nice jagged texture (see close-up photo) that holds color well. The paper dries evenly and does not bleed through. The size is large enough to allow me to explore some of the large format paintings without being intimidating. You will receive a full 64 sheets in 2 pads of 32 each and can easily draw on both sides for practice. If desired…

Pros
  • 32-PAGE sketchbook plan for all projects - professional quality for drawing and painting with watercolors, brushes, pencils, acrylics, markers, pastels, inks, wet, dry or mixed media
Cons
  • Base required

Really Nice Texture Paper - I Like It

Surface textures. This paper is just that. HOW IT WORKS This set of two pads is shrink-wrapped, which is important when it's being delivered in the rain like mine. The box outside was wet but they were protected. CUSHION The binding of the lining is paperless, which makes it easy to fold. PERFORMANCE This paper is really good. This determined the colors of the samples, which worked very well for me. I can remove the color if it doesn't stain well and get good results with it. It didn't have bad

Pros
  • ACID FREE PAPER - vibrant colors last long on sheets of watercolor paper and are suitable for beginners and professionals of all ages
Cons
  • Crumpled Wrapping
