Review on Durable DEWALT Diamond Blade for Precise Wet Tile Cutting - 10-Inch x .060-Inch (DW4764) by Brandon Fernandez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very good blade, but you may need to prepare it by cutting through the cement block multiple times.

This blade may have gotten bad reviews from those who are unaware that the blade needs to be conditioned by cutting cement blocks or other hard materials multiple times. He pulls out the diamonds to make the blade better. The first cut when it was new was on large china and the edge of the cut tile was a bit rough. This is bad for rectified tiles as the cuts can be down the middle of the wall, while ceramic tile cuts run along the entire wall under the molding. I took the blade and cut through the landscaping stone a couple of times, then tried again and this time and every time I got a nice clean cut. You have to repeat this process after a while so that the blade continues to cut as well as possible.

Pros
  • Freehand
Cons
  • Not bad
