The advertised properties are a bit overpriced
This is a Chinese counterfeit 3M product. Physically, it's a bit smaller, so it should have a lower capacity, even if the ads suggest more. I bought it to try and extract the calcium from pool water. In advertising it could be 10,000 gallons. Never used. It turned out (from the 3M website) that it only prevents limescale build-up on metal surfaces, but not on other (e.g. ceramic) surfaces. It doesn't actually remove calcium. I assume it will work as a cheap replacement for the 3M "filter", I really don't know.
