Review on 🎬 Immerse in Stunning 1080p Visuals with the Sony BDP-S300 Blu-ray Disc Player by Malik Munns

This was my first Blu-ray player and I have to say I was NOT impressed. While the picture and sound from this device are excellent, the player itself is MUCH less reliable. About 75% of the time, this player encounters problems or errors when playing a disc (including Blu-ray and regular DVDs). In most cases, it skips or freezes completely, requiring a long shutdown and reboot. These problems have continued after two separate (and presumably successful) firmware updates, so I'm wondering if it's due to poor design or cheap manufacturing. I've been a professional audio engineer for over ten years and used a lot of Sony gear back then. Most of the time I was very impressed with the quality of their equipment. In this case, however, they missed (or perhaps rolled too soon) the ball. Shame Sony. just said.
