I bought this clay specifically for science class because it was supposed to be oil based (as advertised on the website). This was not the case, resulting in significant melting every time water was applied to it. Because of this it didn't work in some of our experiments and also caused a big mess. I didn't find the tone particularly pliable either, which was also frustrating.
