I spent a lot of time--more than was prudent--trying to find decent quality cheapo gloves for a backup type application (along the lines of having gloves in your car for quick "surprise" maintenance). I came across these, and now that I have them, I can say that they're pretty good for what I needed. Theyre decently constructed and suitable for light duty work where minimal abrasion is likely to occur.I also spent a long time trying to size these gloves based on reviews and the manufacturer's sizing information. According to everything, I was definitely going to be a medium. I am not a medium. I'm a small. I'm super picky about glove size, so that's irksome, but since they're for backup, they're good enough and not with the return. Given my experience and the decision paralysis on size that I experienced, it's probably better to get the two sizes you think are closest and return the one that doesn't work--a strategy that I normally dislike and discourage. The time I spent trying to size these out would have been much better spent just doing that instead.
