Review on OCPTY Power Steering Pump 2012-2017 🚙 for Jeep Wrangler | Replacement 20-1039 Compatible by Christopher Tillman

Excellent replacement pump. The only problem is that the original pump may not have needed to be replaced. I removed the original pump, flushed the lines and installed this pump but it was howling like crazy. On closer inspection, I noticed that the tank has a strainer in the middle between the return and flow connections. In short, the strainer was clogged, causing the pump to fail to pick up liquid and howl. I removed the reservoir and rinsed it out with brake cleaner and a blowgun. VOILA! Immediate solution.
