This fan works well, the clip is solid and the oscillation function is amazing, but at three times the price it doesn't move more air than a fan. Holmes branded desktop fans are $9 less at Walmart. So the price here covers the clamp, the vibration and the big battery, and while I haven't seen them face to face, the small Holmes fan lasts longer than you think, so if you're just looking for a desktop fan, I'm not sure if it's worth it. Both work when connected to the network, so they can be used while charging. And this one works well both cropped and on a flat surface. I fitted it to the back of the car to direct the AC air to the dog hatch area and I think it helped on that front. Fully charged it easily lasted 5 hours at top speed (no hesitation). It also worked great for securing the kitchen cabinet door and blowing air directly at me while I'm making jam in the hot kitchen.
