Review on 🔍 K&N 33-2456 Engine Air Filter: High Performance, Premium, Washable Replacement Filter for 2012-2019 Nissan/Infiniti V8 5.6 L (Armada, Patrol, QX80, QX56) by Douglas Jakab

I needed a new air filter for my 2012 QX56 with a 5.6L V8 that eats Escalades LOL. I noticed that the fuel consumption went down a bit last spring. So I opened up the filter housing and yes it was pretty dirty. So I looked for the Wix air filter for the QX listed here on Amazon but it doesn't have that 'notch' in the corner of the filter so I was afraid to order it. Then I saw a good price for a K&N filter here. I have never tried a K&N air filter so why not. It came in three days and was a perfect fit. The K&N has a large filter area, while the standard filter was plastic and had a full two inch filter area. instant difference. Fuel economy consistently hits 19mpg! I didn't buy the QX for fuel economy, mostly because it's built like a tank. That K&N lets the 5.6 sing a little too. Sounds good when accelerating where it used to be pretty numb. I like the idea of the engine getting more air, and the increased fuel economy is a bonus when I can take my foot off the accelerator. This is a well made in USA air filter. I'm glad I tried. I think you will notice a difference for the better too! Thanks K&N
