No effect on HPV outbreaks

I've been taking L-Lysine for decades to prevent or shorten outbreaks of HPV and relieve pain whenever possible. I've recently started showing signs of an impending rash and I've started taking Nutricost L Lysine to help prevent it. It had no effect. A rash followed the pain and soreness. Went to the pharmacy, bought a trusted brand of lysine, went home and took some with meals. Within an hour the pain subsided and by the end of the day it was completely gone as usual except for Nutricost l Lysine. I wonder what is actually in these capsules.
