Review on Durable DEWALT Diamond Blade for Precise Wet Tile Cutting - 10-Inch x .060-Inch (DW4764) by Albert Bohimia

Excellent durability and value

Excellent quality blades. I used these blades for a porcelain stoneware project and they work great. But I mainly used these blades for cutting natural agate, which is part of my passion for making agate marble. I was amazed at the life of the blade when cutting pound and pound freehand agate with the MK Diamond tile cutter. I have no hesitation in recommending these blades as they perform as well as the best grinding wheels for cutting hard rock. Like all blades of this type, it needs to be "refueled" periodically to reveal a fresh diamond when cutting becomes difficult. Nothing wrong with that, just an expected consequence of this blade design. You dress the blade by using it to cut any cheap, coarse silicon carbide grinding wheel, e.g. B. on any 8 inch sanding bench. Drive an inch or two in the grinding wheel a few times and the diamond blade will cut like new again. Such a cheap grinding wheel is enough for many, many "refueling".

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • crumpled packaging
