I decided to take myself a wireless headset for music and conference calls. I wanted to catch two birds with one stone (both for the phone and for the laptop). Did not work out: 1. Windows works very mysteriously with all Bluetooth headsets: two devices are detected in the system: a headset (microphone + ears with unrealistically poor sound quality) and separate headphones for high-quality sound. These two devices do not work at the same time. If you are on a call, then you cannot listen to anything in the background except the call itself. If some application "clamps" the headset after a call (chrome sins with this), then you will have to try to return the ability to listen to the sound through a "normal" device 2. There is no way to turn off the microphone on the headset itself. Those. I can't move freely around the room and turn on the microphone only when it is needed 3. Pairing with two devices at once in practice means that when I speak on a call and an incoming call arrives on my phone, the headset stupidly switches to the phone: I stop even hearing what is happening in the conference, and I canโt warn anyone that I need to answer to a call. 4. Microphones pick up all extraneous voices in the room The device is absolutely amazing for listening to music, or if you need to be alone with yourself. My dream is to experience it on a plane, it must be divine. But for a scenario with phone calls, itโs not very suitable, Iโm already close to spending more on a gill.
