Doesn't like it for wood

Mandrel and discs fit and work, but will work in my air sander, drill press and hand lathe. The grit is good and sands smooth, but the discs clog too easily. On a lathe at 900 rpm, the edge of one disc wore away immediately, leaving a bruise on the surface of the wood. I need them to polish the inside of some of the shallow bowls I've made and folded sandpaper on a rail worked better.
