This is a very cool device.

That's a pretty cool device! Temperatures "Ambient" and "Probe" - with the sensor right next to the display unit. FOUR degrees, although this thing should be certified. So we returned it (thanks to Revine) and got another one. This shows about 0.3 or 0.4 degrees difference between the environment and the sensor. Maybe it's a coincidence, but it inspires confidence that this thing is reading accurately. On another level - this thing is incredibly handy! If we don't have it, it was (In between we sent back a bad one and got a good one) It's amazing how much you miss this guy! Okay, that's just the outside temperature, but of course it's nice to know what it is. (We just hung the sensor outside through the window and it seemed to work fine even in the wind, oh it hit the wire.) Aside from being useful, which is important, this thing is just plain fun!

Pros
  • Waterproof 0.8" temperature sensor attached to base with 10ft cable.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
