Expensive but worth the extra money

Reliable device. High accuracy and sensor data is updated very quickly. The sensor cable is long and the sensor body is small and unobtrusive. The numbers on the LCD are large and bold, making them easy to read. The included battery is a nice touch. Minor complaints about the stand. Difficult to set the maximum viewing angle.

Pros
  • Calibrated to ISO 17025 traceability standards for measurement reliability
Cons
  • Not all fit

Hateful tech support chat from Revain who can't deliver a English sentence together to reset the device or get a replacement. A return via USPS is not possible. The input and output highs and lows reset at the same time and are usually not equal, indicating a malfunction in the instrument (older models will reset the same). MORE display numbers wonderful.

Pros
  • Digital thermometer for checking temperature in liquids, gases, fridges, freezers and water baths
Cons
  • Has problems

I liked it while it worked

This thermometer worked for about 2.5 years. While it worked, i liked it.for 2.5 years a few bars that didn't form the numbers but i could still guess the numbers.a few months later a few more bars fell out and i couldn't even guess the numbers.if you want a thermometer that will last longer than 2 years 8 months, look for other 1. I was hoping for better quality from a slightly more expensive thermometer.

Pros
  • LCD display with 1-1/8" digits shows both probe temperature and ambient temperature
Cons
  • There are nuances

Pretty cool device

Pretty cool device!. The first one we got had a pretty big difference between "ambient" temperature and "probe" temperature - with the sensor right next to the display. FOUR degrees, although this thing should be certified. So we returned it (thanks Revain) and got another one. This shows a difference of 0.3 or 0.4 degrees between the environment and the probe. Maybe it's a coincidence, but it gives you peace of mind that this thing is reading accurately. On another level - this thing is…
