CONTEXTI really wanted a garland of wooden beads for the Christmas tree this year, but they were so expensive! I thought maybe I'll just buy the beads and make them myself so I don't have to pay $30. BENEFITS • Pearls are exactly what I was looking for! CONS • The jute twine that comes with the beads was a good touch, but if I were you I wouldn't use it. I had to cut the tip of the cord because it frayed in the beads. But you could probably melt it down with a lighter. • To be honest, the difference in the size of the pearls is not very good. As you notice in one of my photos, it is difficult to tell the difference between small and medium pearls. • There is no value. As a result, the garland was not so long. So I'll probably either buy one or buy another set to make my garland longer. • The beads were wobbly, not perfect circles. In fact, most pearls were oval rather than round. Overall I am disappointed with this set and cannot recommend it.
