I wasn't expecting these bearings to have an open side. They're pretty expensive. I thought they were like zz. Other than that I put a drop of oil on the "open side" and installed them on the inner wheels of the Moxi pair. The skater loves how they roll. If only used indoors, they should last a long time. The open side of the bearings makes them easier to clean and lubricate, but I won't buy them again. I prefer bearings with rubber on both sides.
