Instead of paying over $100 locally for an oil change, I buy these 3 packs and change the oil myself. I think I can do 3 full synthetic oil and filter changes for the price of one oil change be carried out at our local BMW dealership. Box aside, I think it's indistinguishable from what you would buy over the parts counter at dealerships (and MUCH less money). ) We have used Mahle oil filters in various 3 and 5 series models we own for many years. Never a problem, never a problem.
