Review on 🔧 Dorman 689-117 Engine Camshaft Synchronizer: Quality Replacement for Ford/Mazda/Mercury Models, Black by Greg Princeking

Fixed a horrible chirp on a 3.0 V6 in a 2000 Ford Ranger. Accessing the sensor/synchronizer is difficult without removing the ignition coil and wrestling with the wiring harness. I didn't use the alignment tool. By precisely noting and photographing the position of the sensor flag in the synchronizer body, I was able to simply insert the new part in the correct position. Total installation time (including cleaning) should be around 30 minutes.
