Review on 🍎 Norpro 860 Apple Mate 1- The Ultimate Apple, Potato, Parer, Slicer & Corer Masterpiece by Ashley Stewart

Bought this for a friend who mentioned how difficult she was finding peeling and coring apples lately. She makes cakes and applesauce. Haven't heard of it but I've had one for years and it works great once you get the hang of it. Cleans with clean running water and air dries. Setting up the peeler can be a little tricky so as not to damage the apple. I have found that firmer apples work best, such as B. Granny Smith, Honey Crisp. Soft apples work, you just lose more flesh. I prefer to place it almost anywhere on my counter as opposed to the clamp type which requires a rectangular table top. Never had a problem with the suction cup although you don't want water getting under the rubber base as it will likely rust. Definitely recommend this item!
