Ignition coil only fires at very high RPM. I tested this with a drill spinning a flywheel at 750-1000 rpm. At this speed, a spark is produced. Good luck with such a quick engine start. This module is not working properly. It should be able to produce an acceptable spark when started normally from a manual start. I've spent a lot of time assuming I'm doing something wrong, but I know the flywheel clearance is .010" and that's the manufacturer's spec. If you cannot provide me with a properly working ignition, I would like a refund. If possible, send me, I'll try. I've seen videos on You Tube of someone slowly hand spinning a Briggs & Stratton flywheel without a manual starter and it still produced a visible spark at the spark plug. Not this ignition. The flywheel magnet has a very strong attraction. As I checked, there is no ground circuit connected to the ignition module. I wonder if you have a lot of defective modules and that's why you're selling them for $20.
