Review on 🔧 Gates 41179 Premium Engine Water Pump: Superior Performance Ensured by Greg Mahoney

I bought this pump for my 2008 Rav4 with 2.4 engine. The fit of the part was great and the included o-ring seemed to work well too. Didn't use the sealant as directed. The pump started leaking 11 months after installation, but not through the o-ring but through the drain hole. That's why I swapped out the original factory device. I bought a new one (another brand - Aisin) and installed it with no problems. Revain refunded most of my purchase price as the item didn't work for 12 months. Revain paid for the return shipping. I would be skeptical about buying a Gates product in the future.
