Disconnect Molex Connections

Pros: Low cost, 3 pins and Molex (may be a con for some), the noise isn't that bad but. Cons: cheap construction. These fan heads The noise isn't bad, but the noise is audible. These fans are less than $15, so you get what you pay for. I recently built a low budget computer for my niece. She's 9 years old and doesn't need anything fancy, at least until she shows she has a keen interest in computers. I bought her a Thermaltake case which only had a large front fan but no exhaust. The case could be expanded with 3 more fans, so I bought these because they were connected to at least 3 pins and are neutral in color. During installation, one of the wires from the 3-pin connector fell out of the socket. I was able to fix it, but I imagine not many people have the knowledge or desire to do such a simple repair. Regardless, it shouldn't fail so easily. I don't like Molex connectors (they just take up space and make wiring less tidy), yes I understand they are budget fans, but that's no longer necessary these days. I arranged one as a final exhaust and 2 as exhaust pipes on top. These fans have squeaky bearings and don't like being flipped (turned upside down). Luckily, the case I gave my niece allows for side panel orientation of the fans.
