Review on Gates K050275 Serpentine Micro-V Drive Belt by Scott Gafur

Application: 2010 Mazda 3 2l 4 Cylinder Sedan Nowhere is this listed as a compatible replacement part for the Mazda 3 and definitely not for the A/C compressor belt. I came across this part number while researching a European auto parts site that listed this Gates belt as a replacement for the stock Mazda belt. Comparing the overall length and the number of ribs, it fits perfectly. The DIY process - using zip ties - is a bit wonky, but it worked and the car has a new compressor belt. If you attempt this, be sure to align all of the ribs because if even one breaks as the crankshaft rotates, it will still do so. And repairing it isn't interesting since removing the belt intact isn't actually an option.
