Review on πŸ”‡ BESIGN Ground Loop Noise Isolator: Enhance Audio Quality in Your Car or Home Stereo System with 3.5mm Audio Cable by Edwin Cen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I have 2 and they both fixed issues.

I had two issues I needed to fix. These ground loop isolators solved both problems. I used to try buying different audio cables, plugging computers into different power adapters, different AC outlets, rearranging all the power cords, USB, ethernet and other cables and I still had a noise and hum issue. The first issue I got from my Arctis Pro wireless headset was static. (This model's wireless functionality is controlled by a USB base station that connects to my PC for power and then to my GOXLR mixer via a 3.5mm audio cable.) Whenever I was adjusting the volume on my headset or When I first turned the device on, I got a hissing and buzzing noise that lasted for 10 seconds before disappearing. I found this to be the case when using the display on the base station and when the display turned off after 10 seconds the noise went away. Also, I noticed that I also had static noise when downloading games (even though I didn't adjust the volume on my headset). I hooked up this ground loop isolator and all the problems went away. No more hissing/humming when adjusting the volume on the headset and no more hissing when loading games. HOORAY! The second problem was connecting an audio mixer to the computer from another part of the room. It didn't matter if I used the front or rear mic/line input on my PC, or the mic/line input on my GOXLR. I have a buzzing noise. I've tried different brands of audio cables. Nothing. And yes, I know about balanced/unbalanced TRS/TRSS cables. That wasn't the problem. I hooked up a second purchased ground loop isolator and the hum was gone. HOORAY! I bought these devices for about $9 each, they are worth it.
