Although safer than my Nordic Ware 64802 Egg Microwave as it has handles on top and bottom so there is less risk of burns. Nordic Ware has no handles and requires you to hold the base when removing it from the microwave, and it's too hot not to use a kitchen towel or glove. Even then, unless you're very stable, water will leak out of the seam and get into a towel or glove and burn your hand. I prefer boylies because I don't have to worry about burning my hands and potentially dousing myself with all the hot water in return. However, Boyley is still struggling. Jumbo eggs barely fit in.2. Eggs often crack. I think that's why they include an egg piercing device. But why have my Scandinavian dishes never broken eggs?3. Poor fit of parts. They appear to be a little out of round, so you'll need to pinch the sides together to give them shape when reassembling.
