Review on ACDelco Professional TF289 Auto Transmission by Anthony Jagers

I bought this filter specifically for my 08 GMC Sierra 1500 because it says it is compatible with my truck! After removing the entire transmission pan. After removing the old filter ring and putting in a new filter, I noticed that the pan doesn't close completely! Notice that the new filter does NOT have the same cut angle as the old one and it doesn't clean the sump! It's extremely frustrating when you're trying to fix a T and you end up with a filter that doesn't fit and I have to find the right part. Very disappointed, I wouldn't wish that on any buyer so please check your filter before removing the transmission oil pan! Buyer beware
