The size makes this ratchet very convenient. On standard sized bits it measures 1 inch from the tip to the back of the ratchet so it can really get into those hard to reach places. I only question the build quality, the ratchet is on the tight side when freely rotating which can result in the fastener being screwed back and forth with no ratcheting action given its very tight design and the fasteners you will be using it on , are going to be fairly small, so easier free spins would be more beneficial.
