Does not hold downward position angles

Installation went smoothly. All power options work fine and it fits my 07 Suburban with no issues. I removed the back cover from my previous mirror and draped it over here so no one will ever know it's a replacement. However, if I park for more than an hour, the mirror lowers. I only have to press a button to turn it back on so I can see, but it's annoying.
