I bought this unit after years of using Garmin 5DV because I wanted something with side scan. The block, like all others, is easy to install. The only problem I have is that it takes a while to load and find the satellites and it's driving me crazy. (Garmin on and ready to go.) The device will also nag you to death about registration. I went through the registration process and the code didn't work. I contacted tech support for help and as usual they told me to do the exact same thing I had already tried and it was from two different techs. Technical support for this product is really lacking, so keep that in mind. I've resigned myself to being stuck with a nag screen. It doesn't interfere with the device, it's just a pain in the ass.
