Review on Second Skin Multipurpose Butyl Rope by Jacob Ferrarini

For car doors and vapor barriers. I bought this after upgrading the door speakers on my 10 year old Mustang and found that the vapor barrier had come loose in a few places due to dried butyl rubber. Works great, just wear latex or nitrile gloves because they stick when it gets warmer. It also has other uses like reducing/eliminating vibration between two surfaces and filling/sealing gaps. Note, however, that this material is not designed to harden or harden. So don't expect it to be pressurized or vacuumed as it won't withstand.
