Review on πŸ“± Monoprice 105716 Car Mount for iPad and Tablet, Black - DVD Portrait Design by John Mejia

Preferably. Thing. Very best car accessory

I've had this portable DVD player holder for a week now and it's fantastic! My kids love it and it's easy to use. I have to pull out the DVD player to replace a DVD, but we don't change it very often and it's incredibly easy to put in and take out anyway, so I don't see that as a problem. Love the tilt feature and the fact that I can mount it on a headrest and both kids can see it perfectly - no complaints about needing a second set! (Hooray!) If you have a problem with missing rear seat vents like I have, the bag system blocks airflow to the rear seat. This system doesn't have that, and I don't have to keep reaching back and opening the DVD player because a kid is holding it down to turn it off. They can barely reach it with this system and I love it. I've seen some reviews about it being difficult to install screws or losing screws during installation and if I may I'd like to offer some advice. Do a little test before you buy. Go to your car and check if the headrest you want to install is fully removable. I have a 2010 Hyundai Sonata and I have, so it took me about ten seconds total to install it. To see if your headrests have come loose, press the button and raise them as if you were adjusting them for a taller person, but carefully raise them further and see if they come loose completely. If so, simply slide the DVD mount onto the stands and place the headrest back the way you removed it, and voila! Everything is ready! I don't know if all headrests are removable, but if they are, it's very easy to swap the system between vehicles or between headrests if needed. I haven't seen any reviews saying try it that way, I just found it out myself - and yes, I'm a female lol. Also, make your life easier by attaching the clamps to your DVD player BEFORE installing it in your car. That's common sense to me, but I see you're so excited about the install that you can skip this step. Don't do it :) I would also advise you to buy safety mats for the backs of your seats, if you have small children who want to have the DVD player in the back there is more than likely that you will have problems with it. the backrests of your seats. We've had the rugs for a while and they're value for money! Also, I was able to route the DVD player cord behind the mat straps, effectively "hiding" it from little hands that would like to tug on things and keep it out of sight - neat and tidy. All in all, as you might have guessed, I love this product and am more than happy with this purchase :) I paid $12 and got free shipping for this original DVD mount, the old case logic bag system - which sucks btw - was $15 at Walmart. BUY IT INSTEAD!
