I chose these after doing a lot of research to find the best way to wall mount my surround speakers. After spending some time looking for studs in the wall instead of properly placing the speakers, I decided to mount them directly to the drywall. They are easy to use and as the description says, I was able to screw in the dowel without pre-drilling and with a regular hand screwdriver. The audible click when tightening the supplied screws was a clear and good sonic sign that everything was working as intended. They matched my Klipsch RP-240S speakers perfectly! The speakers weigh around 13 pounds and hold it like a champ.
