Drivers for this are Prolific FTDI drivers which you can find on the internet. I spent a lot of time identifying the chipset, but after opening it up and identifying the chip I was able to find the correct driver for it. The cable works perfectly, has been in service for about a year without any complaints. I use it in my scanner to monitor incoming serial data. He didn't let me down. Although these cables were cheaper.
