So I've been using the Britta Kanne for two years. I just came across alkaline water, not acidic, and decided to test my water. ok my water has become very acidic (my tap water itself is very alkaline so not sure why my filtered water is acidic but still) I buy these hoping they will solve my problem. Well it was, but it wasn't. I have a photo of two cups: the clear one is my Britta filtered water with the Britta filter and the gray one is from this filter. I tested with pH drops and as you can see my water has definitely gone alkaline but I'm not sure if this gray water is safe to drink now. Haven't tried it yet as I get a little nervous when drinking opaque water.
