I've returned to swimming after a hiatus of over a decade and I'm swimming in a brine pool. Most swim shampoos claim to combat chlorine exposure, but very few mention saltwater. This one did, so I ignored the kid marketing and gave it a try. Bottom Line: It works great against salt water, even on adults. The phrase "2 in 1" on the label does not mean "shampoo and conditioner". I believe that means it handles both chlorine and salt water. If you normally use conditioner after shampooing, you will probably still need a separate conditioner. I use it in combination with the Matrix Biolage Conditioner and my hair is almost as soft as before the swim. (I spend about 5 hours a week in salt water with a swim cap). The scent is not childish. This is a light citrus scent. Nothing but the cries of the packaging "Children!" Information about this product. It helped me (a child of almost 40 years).
