I am a graduate student and read hundreds of pages every day. I recently bought an Irispen Express to use on a computer running Windows 7. The hardest part about using this pen was finding the right method of installation. The software provided with the product is not fully compatible with Windows 7 and you will need to visit the irispen website to find the correct software. Once you change the system settings as explained on the website, install the software and apply the appropriate patches, the pen works great with the tutorials. The website itself is unclear so it took me a while to figure out exactly what to do. Also, the stylus' UI is very patchy and buggy, so it will take you a few tries to figure out the settings that work for you. But at the end of the day, if you stick with it, every minute you spent tweaking the pen will be more than made up for in the pen's functionality. I would recommend this product, but only if you are a little familiar with computers (not afraid to change the system configuration, get used to installing patches and be patient). It's also worth noting that the material the scanner body is made of looks very cheap. It's a shame as the product is so expensive. Much luck! Know that the product scans well, works on Windows 7 (after some work on your behalf) and is a pleasure to use.
