Review on πŸš— Enhance Performance with Beck Arnley 072-9689 Clutch Slave Cylinder by Jared Surabhi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks the same as the original parts

So far so good. There can be no talk of leaks or other failures. Some of these aftermarket slave cylinders seem to give people trouble. Especially with the fatigue and flexing of the plastic slider. Other aftermarket models I've compared have a black plastic slider under the dust cover. This one from Beck Arnley is a khaki color that looks just like the real thing. Maybe the ones with the black push rod are the lowest kind of plastic. Also do your homework on the correct procedure to bleed this cylinder on a Mini Cooper. This requires the cylinder to be pushed in (using some sort of clamping system) when the line is deflated. This is essentially the downside of a typical slave cylinder in terms of the bleed process.

Pros
  • Designed for use in underground vehicles
Cons
  • Available in white only
