Perfect fit for mariner 4.
Instead of glueing the plastic pedestals I cut two four inches of PVC pipe, drilled a hole and placed it in place of each oar. The end of the two posts fit perfectly and it's very stable, removable, and oars can be placed back if needed very quickly.
