I don't know what soap my daughter bought but we tested her car first as it was the dirtiest. This thing completely covered her car like it was fake snow thrown on the trees. We actually had to water the driveway to get to the car because it can be very slippery. It was really easy to use and connect. We simply put the soap in the container, connected the bottom to our watering hose and turned it on. The nozzle and tip made sure we got all sorts of angles. We've even managed to get inside tires, hubcaps and even the gaps between nuts and hubcaps. How clean your car gets depends on the soap you buy, because the soap we used the first time didn't remove all of the bugs' innards. The second soap we bought cleans much better. We have used this foam gun over and over again, her car looked just like the picture. The included vacuum is a bonus, but the gun itself is really great. After the soap is poured out of the container, you can still use it to wash your car.
