Unfold the product and measure it by securing it with 3 small pieces of tape: two at the top and one just above where your horizontal cut will be made.4. Make sure the left or right corner of the material is tucked neatly into the narrow edge of the frame where it meets the glass. Make sure both edges are snug against the top and side edges.5. Make a vertical cut with a sharp utility knife.6. Make two small cuts where the horizontal cut will be and gently press down on the piece until it is flush with the bottom corners of the window.7. Remove the product from the windows and, using a ruler and a scraper, make a horizontal cut on a flat surface. knife.8. Clean the window again, dampening the smooth side with soapy water. Also wet the windows.9. Hang it on the window. It fits perfectly.10. Fiddle with it for hours with a squeegee trying to make it stay. The rough side is even worse. Do it as long as you want! But if you want to save yourself the headache, go to the next step.11. Take/get a roll of Gorillas Duct Tape and secure all edges top and bottom, top and bottom with long pieces of duct tape. Luckily, the strap color matches my frame perfectly.
