If they said heavy duty, they were right. These pins are 1/4". I've used 3/16" pins from several vendors and some of them have buckled under load. Not only are they pretty heavy, I like the ball at the tip. I have to no worries about something falling off or getting pierced by the tip. I also use them on metal panels instead of wood(?). This pack contained 50 pins, 8" long. I guess I will have pegs for a long time without having to re-order. UPDATE : See attached photos. Corner. I looked closely at the swivel and noticed that the support leg was almost straight and shorter than my old swivels. I used a couple of channel locks to bend it back so they hang straight. BAD ME CAN'T GIVE THEM ONE (1) STAR BACK!They're heavy, just crappy construction.
