The piece itself is thicker than most hooks and strong. As others have said, I am concerned that each (I bought a pack of 50) is bent down. Others complain about this problem, but only a few per box. in this case all. Not very useful when items can't stay in place.

I ordered another brand that used to be cheaper and that was a mistake. They were absolute rubbish. These are way better. Sturdy and resists bending fairly well. Also works better on a perforated board than the 1/8" option. If you have Wall Control's perforated plate they will work, and the 1/8" option requires no modification.

shit I bought the 1/8 inch version of these pins and they were perfect (see photos). The 1/4" version of the swivels appears to be a second box. The angle of the pins is steep and very uneven. They are nearly impossible to repair as they are 1/4" thick steel. Even the balls on the Ends of the pins aren't even directly welded on.

They match the description and are actually 1/4 inch which is good. However, they are not straight. easy in a vise, but it's a bit of a chore to do for everyone. Also, about 90% of the balls that are welded to the end are far off center in my box. They still work like hooks, but the ball is on the end was a nice feature that led me to these hooks over the other options, and it was poorly implemented on them.

These are strong, durable hooks for a standard pegboard. Good, thick 1/4" bars will usually stay in place without the need for additional attachment. Note that the balls at the end mean they are slightly larger at the tip. Here in town I have Home Depot or Lowe's (best deal 89 cents each) or WalMart (best deal TERRIBLE, 3-pack, ended up at 80 cents for a very flimsy 4-inch red-tipped model. Great hooks! These are great heavy duty hooks that you can actually load and not get beat up on. They're great for everything except pliers and most screwdrivers. The ball on the end does a good job most of the time, but there are some tools that require the ball to be removed to fit these pins. If they said heavy duty, they were right. These pins are 1/4". I've used 3/16" pins from several vendors and some of them have buckled under load. Not only are they pretty heavy, I like the ball at the tip. I have to no worries about something falling off or getting pierced by the tip. I also use them on metal panels instead of wood(?). Great value for money and the best I have found to complement my Wall Control Perforated Metal Plate. The ball on the end is easy enough to grind off if you have a small tool that won't fit around the ball.
