I bought this for my father for his chopper for Christmas. He was able to install it and it's not obvious where it is. He loves to. He hasn't plugged it in for switch mode yet and I think once plugged in it should show if the bike has been moved. This was a key feature that I liked because there are a TON of tourists who aren't careful and can easily smack their bikes while parking and drive away. Great for bikers! The satellite is also an interesting feature, it shows you exactly where your bike is at all times.
