I opened a new roll of tape and was using a few small pieces to hold down some plywood while doing some routing. It held it down great which is what I expected. However, when I tried to remove it more than half of the tape remained stuck to the plywood and could not be removed no matter what I tried. It left large patches of a sticky, gooey residue. I eventually was able to remove it with multiple applications of Goo Gone and a lot of scrubbing. Perhaps, I just got a bad batch of tape but I will be looking for a better alternative to replace it.
