Looking forward to an oil change
Just received this yesterday in preparation for my first oil change on my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek at 6000 mile intervals. It was a little difficult to straighten the threads after removing the factory drain plug, but once I've installed and tightened it I'm ready for future oil changes. The design is handy in that the threading keeps the valve outlet on top of the oil pan, which should help keep it from snagging on anything. I bought this model with a small plastic clip that additionally secures the valve against unintentional opening. This is my first Fumoto valve and I will be buying another one for my truck.
