My daughter has been asking for roller skates for a long time and I was hesitant to buy them online because her feet are still growing fast. I saw that they are adjustable and I thought that was great. She is 7 years old and wears a size 2 in most shoe sizes, so I went for the medium size. She fell in love instantly and wanted us to dress them as soon as they arrived. It was she who took them out of the box and took all the steps to tie them up. They have an adjustable front lacing that tightens the shoe. They have a front brake for stopping and the wheels light up when rolling. Because it's a big break, it's easier for her to stop and she won't fall. There is a part of the page that you can press to resize. She could do it herself and choose what was comfortable for her. Instructions for use and care are included. They feel firm on the feet and I love that they are soft. It took a while to learn to skate, but she's doing great now. Worth the money and will definitely buy more for my second child.
